I'm happy to announce that ShadowMu is back online, running on the new host at full capacity (maximum 800 players).

Changelog:
  • all know bugs fixed(in game) : guild, party bugs and also some mumessenger bugs(press F key in game)
  • all skills are full working(including Nova Skill and skills tree)
  • "Change Password" bugs in website fixed
  • Some scripts was optimized : Ranking scripts, cache script, login panel
  • Database was optimized : before fragmentation : 98,996785% after fragmentation 0,330123% -> performance boost over 90%, that mean no more vault lag, disconnects, dupe and login stuck!

Unfinished things:
  • new website design : it has some render bugs in Internet Explorer and  Opera and should be fixed until we launch it!
  • some website scripts : status script, e-mail validation script.

In the next 3 hours you may notice:
  • website lag
  • big login time in game(about 10-12 seconds)
because our host performs some optimization steps like defragmentation, registry clean-up and system volumes reindex.

Hello ShadowMU Players,
I want to inform you that our statistics show a huge percent of new players coming on our server on the last month(270% from server's population in 01-06-2010) and our host can't run as smooth as I want to provide a 100% no-lag gameplay as we did until now so i took the decision to upgrade the server so we can increase the amount of maximum number of players we can get.

This upgrade will improve:
  • overall servers performances (a lot less lag)
  • minor bug fixes in game that we found
  • security updates
  • rewrite website engine (will be a lot faster and more friendly)
This maintenance will be a bit longer and the main website and gameserver will be unavailable.

The estimated date when we will be back online ready to satisfy you is 30-July-2010 12:00 AM.

The host will go down tomorrow, 21-July-2010 05:00 AM.
